Our company and the products we design is based on the premise that mother care is just as important as baby care. As mothers ourselves, and following the birth of our children, we were quite surprised with the 'left-overs' on the belly region from the months of abdominal expansion, but most of all, we were surprised at the lack of muscle support and the not so pleasant jelly belly feeling in the abdominal area straight after our birthing experience. Although a Physiotherapist provided what looked like an oversized (and rather unattractive) elastic bandage to help overcome this problem - depite it working at the time - we found the riding-up issues and lack of support in specific areas annoying. 

So there begins the vision of Mammahood - to develop products that can assist all mummies (and their tummies!) after birth. Our aim is to introduce post baby compression wear that is both functional and stylish. Gone are the days of nanna looking girdles and compression wear! Our range is seamless, fashionable and most importantly, feels comfortable. 

Most parents can attest that raising a baby is diffiicult on so many levels and, quite often, the mother's needs are forgotten or even neglected during the early stages of nurture. Motivated by the belief that mother care is just as important as baby care, here at Mammahood, we strive to design innovative products to help mothers feel their best, so they can be their best for bubs.
